Contes d'Hoffmann dogs have the reputation as the best Malinois in Europe and the United States, mostly for personal protection and for breeding programs. When somebody talks about our dogs, they don't say "Malinois", they say proudly "I have or I want a Contes d'Hoffmann". When you need a tissue to blow your nose you ask for a Kleenex, not a tissue. The name became stronger then the product.

Wether people talk good or bad about the Contes d'Hoffmann doesn't matter, it is proof that we exist, and that we bother other people.
